Terms of Service — SpeedReceipt

These terms govern your use of SpeedReceipt ("the app"). By using the app, you agree to them. See the Privacy Policy for how the app handles data — these terms cover your responsibilities and the limits of what the developer is liable for.

Your data lives in your own Google account

The app stores your receipts, images, and spreadsheet data directly in your own Google Drive and Google Sheets — not on the developer's servers. This means:

• You are responsible for keeping your own backups. If you delete a file, lose access to your Google account, or your Drive data is otherwise lost or corrupted for any reason, the developer has no copy to restore it from and is not responsible for that loss. Keep your original receipts and any other copies you need for your own records or legal/tax obligations, independent of this app.
• You are responsible for your own Google account's security (password, two-factor authentication, and which other apps or people you've granted access to).

Sharing your data is your choice — and your responsibility

Because your receipts and spreadsheet live in your own Google Drive, you can choose to share that folder or spreadsheet the same way you would share any other Google Drive file — including Google's own "anyone with the link" option, which makes it viewable by anyone who has that link, whether or not you intended for them to see it, and regardless of whether they're someone you know. The app does not create such links on its own or without your action, but if you choose to generate and share one (through Drive's own sharing controls, not a feature of this app), you are solely responsible for who you share it with and what they can then see. The developer has no visibility into, or control over, links you create or share this way.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. The developer does not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that receipt scanning/OCR results will always be accurate — always review what the app has recorded before relying on it, particularly for tax or accounting purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss of data, loss of business, or other damages arising from your use of the app — including, without limitation, lost or corrupted receipts, data shared via a link you created, or reliance on inaccurate OCR results. Use the app at your own risk, and keep independent backups and records as described above.

Subscription and billing

Paid access is billed as an auto-renewing subscription through Google Play, subject to Google Play's own terms. Manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a new "last updated" date.
